Today, CVTEs MAXHUB is officially launched with a unified global brand image. But for us, this event may have come too late. Many years ago, our team has planted the seeds for this ambition to materialize.

Lets roll back the time to the winter of 2005: In a small and dark room of less than 150 sqm near Guangzhou Airport Road, a dozen engineers pooled their savings of RMB 14,000 to do something great and work their way out. At that time, we didnt know what entrepreneurship meant, the word wasnt as popular back then as it is now. All we knew was: work hard together in that dark room to make our products right. 

In 2009, we got our own office building. Perhaps as a token of what was to come, we found in the newly renovated conference room a vague display, cumbersome wired connections, multiple equipment that needed preheating and debugging, which affected our conference efficiency and experience. As we communicated with many entrepreneur friends, everyone was affected by these conferencing issues.

And today, everyone can feel that every link in every industry is having their baptism of rapid change. The market changes swiftly, innovation iterations come at unimaginable speeds, new product categories appear seemingly out of nowhere, and scientific and technological development is only accelerating.

Who would have thought that bicycle would become the next internet sensation, and bike-sharing programs would conquer the stage? Driverless vehicles have arrived faster than we expected, driven by IoT giants and carmakers willing to jointly invest and profit. If you havent given thought to the ways mobile payment will change your life, then dont be surprised when next time your realtor hands you a VR helmet for a tour around some properties…

In the face of the ever-changing Internet environment, we need more efficiency than ever before. All aspects of business operations suffer from inefficiency, and conferences are an important activity in many businesses and an important high ground in creating enterprise value. At many companies, conferencing frequency is rising while efficiency is slidinga pressing and vital issue.

Then we started imagining what an efficient conference experience would look like: a large and clear display screen, unrestricted writing space, wirelessly connected equipment, no more man-made meeting minutes, and perhaps location could become obsolete if participants had truly immersive communication...

To turn these ideas into reality, one of our earliest founders put up a team to delve into this. Fast-forward to today: we are now able to present the results of technological breakthroughs in touch control, human-computer interaction, wireless two-way transmission, and voice and image processing. Our "Method and device for identifying touch points on an infrared touch panel project has been honored with the China Excellent Patent Award. These continuous and accumulating breakthroughs have made us the first enterprise in Guangzhou to break the mark of 1000 patents filed in 2016. Meanwhile step by step we have taken our exploration and research to maturity. In our application software design, we strive to recreate real conference scenes, we track user habits, invite users to work with us to define the functions of the product. We have been executing weekly software iteration from the very begining.

In this era of diversity and openness, we want to build an efficient conferencing platform for more efficient communication, more efficient integration, more efficient collaboration, to create greater value. With an open attitude, we will work with suppliers from around the world to provide efficient management solutions, and we look forward to more business management and conferencing-related applications filling the shelves of our MAXHUB application store, to create more innovative and effective user experiences.

Today, here in Beijing at the China National Convention Center, we welcome the arrival of the MAXHUB high-efficiency conference platform, as we all witness the story of an idea becoming reality. We have the confidence that the wireless broadcast of information, the real-time presentation of inspiration, the seamless connection of creativity, will greatly help to link and leverage resources, to accelerate the iteration cycles of products, and to aid the successful implementation of companies strategies.
